it is my great pleasure to announce to you the third bi-annual Beer vs. Wine Dinner to be held Saturday, March 3rd at 6pm. If you have previously attended one our B-V-W dinners, than you surely know how ridiculously entertaining they are. For those of you not in the know, let me illustrate as the premise is simple: A four-course, fine dining meal in which each course is paired with a beer chosen by Paradise Creek brewer Tom Handy and a wine chosen by Merry Cellars vinificator (sounds dirty) Patrick Merry. Each guest gets a voting card in which they choose for each course, which beverage paired best with the food. In the end, a winner is chosen. Also in the end, most everyone in attendance needs a ride home.
The dinner is limited to 50 seats and the all-inclusive tickets go on sale this Friday, January 27th for $45. Following tradition, this winter event is held indoors here at Paradise Creek Brewery. Both Tom and Patrick will be present to introduce their choices before each course. Our kitchen is feverishly putting together a spectacular menu that will be announced in a future Brewsletter.
