Est 2010
In The Beginning...
In early 2010, Paradise Creek Brewery was born in Pullman’s Old Post Office building at 245 SE Paradise St. Our ales were crafted in the remodeled basement on a seven-barrel brew house. We poured much of the beer out of our own taps but we also were distributed throughout Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho in kegs and bottles. From the long-time favorite Pokerface Blonde, the citrus-hoppy Over the Hop IPA to our creamy and roasty MooJoe Coffee Milk Stout, the variety of seasonal and perennial ales flowing from our taps will thrill the most demanding of craft beer seekers. We soon added additional fermenters and a small bottler in the basement of the Old Post Office to keep up with demand.
A little later.....
Fast forward to 2017. Our production needs had outgrown our location in the basement, so we embarked on an expansion project that took us a few blocks away into another building at 505 SE Riverview St. in Pullman. We sold the old brewhouse and most of the tanks to Abby Ridge Brewery in Southern IL and purchased a 15-barrel brewhouse from Aslan Brewery in Bellingham WA. Not only did we double our brewhouse capacity, but we also nearly quadrupled our fermentation capacity. We also added a canning line to satisfy those of you who prefer a more environmentally and beer friendly package format. After about 9 months of construction, the facility went into full operation in September 2018. We call it the Trailside Taproom as it is right alongside the Pullman’s trail system.
2019 brings yet another major innovation to Paradise Creek Brewery. It is a program we call Keep Pullman Beer’d. What is that you ask? Well, it is our beer delivery program. Yep we can deliver our award winning beer right to your door to save you the trouble and allow you more time to just enjoy a great beer without having to do more than just answer the door. Can’t be any easier than that, can it?
We started Paradise Creek with one goal in mind: to locally create exceptional beer and share it with our friends. We brew all of our beers 100% right here in Pullman, Washington. We are family owned and operated and are COUGS to boot! On any given day of the week you can smell the sweet aroma of our brewing process throughout the downtown area. Our hops are sourced directly from the Yakima Valley, where the majority of the United States hops are grown, and our grains are predominantly grown in the Northwest region. This maintains the fresh taste of all our brews and boosts the flavor in our IPAs.
Hungry? Our downtown Restaurant at the original location in the Old Post Office on Paradise St. offers a creative menu ranging from half pound Angus burgers to smoked BBQ-style plates…. enhancing the flavor experience you gain while spending time enjoying the beers. Our Executive Chef, Joan Swensen owner of the former Swilly’s Restaurant in Pullman, has added her amazing touch to the food at Paradise Creek. Check out our menu for an idea of what you can expect to taste.
Kids are absolutely welcome in our friendly atmosphere, and we even have a few kid-specific menu options as well.
For those who don’t care for a beer, we offer wine, a full bar and feature Coca-Cola products.
We’re excited to participate in the community and economy of Pullman by involving local groups and businesses in our experience of brewing unique and flavorful beers, delivering savory plates in our restaurant and sharing the fun times along the way.
The F.A.Q.
Yes! We moved our production to 505 SE Riverview St in Pullman, next to the city ball fields in the area where Deda’s Auto Repair Shop was. We have a taproom there to hang out in and watch us brew. We call it the Trailside Taproom because it is right along the running trail. Our original location in the Old Post Office is still the location of our restaurant.
Well now that you mention it, YES, we deliver kegs, cans, and bottles right to the comfort of your home or wherever you spend the night. You can go to our online store here, and order your favorites to be delivered to your door. We still need about 24 hours to be sure we have the beer in the keg size you want but if you just want packaged stuff, we can get it right over to you.
Absolutely. We’ll fill any 64-ounce growler, or 32-ounce grunt you bring in, or if you’d like to purchase one of ours…well that’s even better. Growler fills are typically between $11 and $13, and the glass jug itself is $8. Note that growlers are for off-site consumption only.
We currently have our year-round Huckleberry Pucker bottled and are available in the brewpub. Twenty-two-ounce bombers are typically $6 and you can find many of our brews on the shelves of your favorite bottle shops.
Yep, we offer six packs of 12 oz. cans. Currently we are canning all of our year round beers, and some seasonal beers too!
It Depends! Give us a call at 509-338-9463 to chat about how we can host you.
You can definitely bring your kid(s) into either location. We don’t have much for high-chair seating, but we do have a few menu options for the kiddos. Besides, I think society generally frowns upon leaving children locked in the car.
To put it simply, not generally.
Our patio at the restaurant is an extension of our dining room, but if your pet is well-behaved, they are allowed on the patio (only). At the Trailside Taproom, pets are welcome anywhere as long as they don’t fly or run around the brewing equipment.
Yes, we have a wonderful off-street shaded patio that is out of the hustle and bustle at the Restaurant on Paradise St.
We also have a sizeable outdoor seating area at our Taproom on Riverview Street!
You might be in the wrong place. This is Paradise Creek Brewery, a Northwest Craft Brewery serving only craft beers. All our beers are made right here in Pullman. we have nothing from Milwaukee or St. Louis.
Yes, we have managed to come along into the 21st century. We don’t expect you to use your own data to check in on Facebook or Untapped or tweet @pcbrewery or Instagram us a pic.
C’mon…what kind of self-respecting brewery doesn’t offer kegs to those who want mass quantities of the good stuff? We have 1/2 barrels (15.5 gal) and 1/6 barrels (5.1 gal) kegs of our on-tap brews available for pre-order for in-store pickup. We do ask for a $100 deposit (fully refundable) for keg shells and also for pump taps. While there’s the possibility we might have the style of beer you want in the size you want ready to go, we strongly urge you to fill out our keg request form to coordinate a future keg purchase. Trust us, it’s just easier this way.
